The company

A trading house built on the produce of the two rivers

Rawae Al-Rafidain takes its name and its identity from the bounty of Mesopotamia. We work at the point where the habits of the traditional market meet modern supply management, in sectors that touch food and agricultural security directly.

In practice that means three things: trading and distributing essential foodstuffs, importing and exporting fresh fruit of the grades buyers actually ask for, and supplying complete animal feed that supports the livestock sector.

What we supply

Three sectors, one supply chain

Each sector carries its own handling standard, but they share the same buying network, the same warehouses and the same fleet.

How we work

How an order moves through us

Five stages, from the purchase order upstream to the signature at your gate.

01

Source

We buy from farms, mills, packers and overseas suppliers we have dealt with before, and we hold more than one option on every line so a shortage upstream does not become your shortage.

02

Inspect

Goods are checked on arrival for grade, weight, moisture, packaging integrity, labelling and remaining shelf life. Anything that fails is rejected before it reaches the racks.

03

Store

Dry stock goes to ambient warehousing. Fruit and chilled lines go straight into temperature-controlled rooms and stay there.

04

Pick and dispatch

Orders are picked against the specification you signed off, palletised, documented and loaded in delivery sequence.

05

Deliver

Dry and refrigerated vehicles run to markets, depots, farms and institutional kitchens, with condition confirmed against the same paperwork at handover.

Cold chain

Chilled from the grower to your loading bay

Fresh produce loses more value in transit than anywhere else in the chain. Ours stays in temperature-controlled rooms and refrigerated vehicles from the moment it is received until it is signed for.

  • Pre-cooling and grading on intake
  • Temperature-controlled storage set by product
  • Refrigerated vehicles for fresh and chilled lines
  • Condition checked and recorded at handover

Why buyers stay

Reliability is the product

One supplier, three sectors

A grocery wholesaler, a fruit trader and a poultry farm can all be served from one account, one set of contacts and one delivery schedule.

Specifications, not surprises

You set the grade, the pack size and the tolerance. That is what arrives — or we call you before it ships.

Paperwork in order

Certificates of origin, health and conformity documents and customs clearance handled so consignments do not sit at the border.

Volumes that scale

From a single pallet to a full container or truckload, priced for the quantity you actually move.

The goods

What we handle, up close

Dry goods, orchard fruit, raw materials and the land they come from.
